Welcome, welcome, WELCOME…RSVLTS Pins!
While nearly everyone knew these were coming soon, and might already have a few in your collection, RSVLTS couldn't be more thrilled to announce the most pin-tastic news in a while: the full introduction of the first series of RSVLTS Pins, the launch of the PINsiders FB group and what’s all ahead.
While not a debut by any means, considering that we’ve been slowly releasing and selling pins throughout the summer at various events, the full extent of the debut series has yet to be showcased, as well as dedicated information hubs.
The goal is to introduce a new series of enamel pins each year that will be released in batches on a rolling basis, with each new series varying in size, depth and variety, which will likely include both unlicensed and licensed designs.
In fact, Series 1 includes 194 total unlicensed RSVLTS pins, 8 total licensed D23 pins and 5 total commemorative Steve Gebhardt pins. All pins are limited edition and come in few general categorizations - commons, whales and grails - with complete details further explained and shown within a dedicated website (currently in Beta): https://daremightypins.com/
The limited edition pins will range from 1/1000 common designs down to 1/1 hyper-rare grails, including iridescent pins and even 24ct gold plated pins, with even more incredible licensed and unlicensed items to follow.
Please note that to start, RSVLTS Pins will only be available to purchase at special events and experiences, such as the various Comic Cons, FanExpos, and other coordinated special occasions. That said, we recognize that not everyone can travel to events near or far, so down the line a starter pack of select or randomized pins could appear online to be sold from time to time.
Furthermore, regarding the aforementioned DareMightyPins site, RSVLTS wanted to have an ongoing visual database to keep all items cataloged and organized, very similar to the trading card world. Reminder...the DareMightyPins website is currently running as a Beta version, so please bear with us as we continue to update in real-time with new content, photos and articles, as well as optimize with new features/additional tech updates to be announced soon!
For a bit more background about the creation of the RSVLTS Pins: the development of the pins and programming was the passion project of Steve Gebhardt. His dream was to get these items into everyone’s hands, to host gatherings at events for people to come together to collect and trade, to rip packs together and see the excitement when a rare pin was pulled.
Ultimately, much like the RSVLTS brand has done for years, the goal was to further build community around the pins, to start conversations about everyone's favorite designs, and perhaps make some lasting friendships along the way too.
With that in mind, we're excited to announce the first dedicated RSVLTS Pin Trading Event to take place at the RSVLTS New York Comic Con booth next week. More details to follow on the specific date, time and location once all RSVLTS NYCC details are announced in advance of the show.
Additionally, now live is the RSVLTS PINsiders Facebook Group, which will be the official community forum for all things RSVLTS Pins, collecting and trading, which will also continue to grow over time.
That's all for now! There will be so much more to follow, so thank you all very much in advance for all the initial support.
So welcome again, RSVLTS Pins, let’s start collecting and trading!
