2020 has been an interesting year to say the least. It kicked off with an epic RSVLTS Meet Up in Chicago in February complete with a custom Comic Con booth, Harry Caray shirts, a ping pong infused beer swap, plenty of Old Style beers, piano duels, and an all-time photo outside Wrigley. Unfortunately, shortly after the great times in Wrigleyville, the entire world basically shut down.
Although 2020 has been a struggle, there were also great moments and milestones in the RSVLTS community! Engagements, gender reveals, Zoom weddings, trivia nights, road trip adventures, impromptu (socially-distant) Insider meet ups, amazing family moments, and so much more.
To round out the year, we asked the community to submit their most legendary RSVLTS photos of 2020. And wow, what a response!
Nearly 300 people submitted photos and what started as a simple one card design project morphed into a two-day marathon of tweaking photos and late night Fedex proof printing which eventually became four awesome holiday cards sent out to the entire community.
It was an unbelievable feeling when the first photos of the cards started trickling onto Insiders, followed quickly by a waterfall of good vibes and holiday card trading.
Since the response was a little overwhelming (in a good way), we weren't able to use every single photo. They were all incredible, but we just ran out of time to actually design the damn thing. Rest assured, in 2021, we'll bake in more time to feature even more Insider photos!
For now, we organized all of the photos into an album on Facebook. Think of it as a virtual holiday card. Click though and celebrate the finer moments of a weird year.
