Join RSVLTS HQ and Steve’s family & friends for an official meet-up dedicated to the life and memory of RSVLTS co-founder, Steve Gebhardt. A day to be filled with fun, food, drinks, fond memories and a ton of laughs. The day will begin with special access to Pier 13 in the morning and through the early afternoon, other events in the evening to follow.
Must RSVP and purchase a ticket in advance. No admittance will be accepted without a ticket/RSVP, even day-of the event (no sales at door, must be purchased thru Eventbrite). A special, commemorative RSVLTS button-down will be sent to attendees following the event, one per person and in only one size, ONLY to those in attendance (when/where you select your size). All ticket purchases are final (per the rules & regs of eventbrite); no returns or exchanges on commemorative the button-down, nor refunds for price of ticket if you are unable to attend.
There will be plenty of happenings throughout the weekend, such as a casual little old school RSVLTS get together/beer swap on Friday night 9/13 at Departed Soles (more details below), so please stay tuned to this Field Notes post for any real-time updates as we get closer to the weekend.

Entry into the Meet-up: All are invited. Please note this is a public venue, so as such we cannot guarantee entry once the pier opens to the public due to capacity (we’ll have an area reserved for early entry, but still…get there early!). Per the Pier 13 FAQs, the venue is 21+, however children are allowed if accompanied by parents. Also please note the RSVP list is for the shirt exclusive and does not guarantee entry.
How to Get the Commemorative Shirt: You need to be on the list with a purchased ticket. Your event RSVP is non-transferrable, once the event starts the list will be closed and we can not edit invites. We will have a booth/table set up at Pier 13 at the entrance, so simply show your ID that matches the name of the RSVP (the pier will be checking IDs to ensure 21+). This will be a pre-sale for the shirt, so at check-in, we’ll confirm your info for shipping and you’ll select your size and then that will be FINAL. No returns or exchanges on commemorative the button-down, nor refunds for price of ticket if you are unable to attend.

9/13 Friday Happy Hour & Beer Swap - Departed Soles: We’re going old school and the night before the Meet-Up, Friday 9/13 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm ET, DTH and the HQ Crew will be hosting a throwback Beer Swap at Departed Soles.
BREAKING NEWS...THIS JUST IN: a custom, limited-edition RSVLTS Meet-Up specialty koozie-koolers will be available for the first 100 guests, and to top it all off, one of Steve's favorite party activities... KARAOKE!!! No need to RSVP will be there anxiously awaiting your arrival with a nice cold beverage.
For any of you NEWBs Insiders that haven't had a taste of this glorious nectar of an event, this is how the beer swap portion breaks down:
1) you bring a 4-pack of beer from YOUR HOMETOWN. We don't want to see you St. Louisans bring BL or you Milwaukeeans toting that ML shhhhhiiii.... BRING SOME HEAT!!!
2) at the event, make some friends and swap your beer with someone else's beer. Trade around and make yourself a nice little mix pack to take back to enjoy (back home, crush in your hotel, etc., your choice)!
3) we're going to get a bunch of pizzas and cowabunga, it's GAME ON, DUDE!
Also, a custom, limited-edition RSVLTS Meet-Up beer by way of Departed Soles will be available in four packs at the brewery as well!

Other Happenings Around Town: There are amazing places to eat, drink and experience all the wonderful culture around Hoboken and Jersey City (and Manhattan, of course, if one were so inclined to cross the mighty Hudson). Ask around or do a quick search and you’ll find world class cuisines and restaurants in pretty much every corner wherever you’re staying in the area.
Getting to Hoboken: If you're flying into town, Uber is your best friend. It should be about $25 bucks to go from Newark airport to Hoboken. If you're coming from one of the other airports closer to New York City, then public transportation is super easy too and much more cost effective to make your way to Hoboken/Jersey City!
Where to Stay: There are a lot of great hotels and Airbnbs in downtown Jersey City (specifically Downtown JC), Hoboken, Weehawken and New York City (if choosing the latte, we reco the west side in particular, so it is easier to cross over to Jersey via the PATH train).
